The Perfect Gift According to Me

Buying gifts can be a daunting task for anyone. I’m always plagued with wonders of will my friends and family really like what I get them, will they be able to use it, will they hate it and other similar questions. I've even considered MAKING gifts - I've got some jewellery making kits so that's an opton for my female friends - unique jewellery items.
I’ve come to realize that it really is the thought that counts more than anything, though. People love to know that you even thought of them. A simple, sweet card will make anybody smile. I tend to stick to what I know whether than try to buy things that I think they need, or I think they might find interesting because the fact is, just because I like something doesn’t mean that they will. I usually buy my mom her favorite candy bar and a candle or wax melts, because she is borderline obsessed with those. My best friend usually receives some type of t-shirt and gives me the same, something funny that seems like it was made with him in mind and video games for my brother. While sometimes I think that I’d much rather get them better, more meaningful gifts, come Christmas day I realize that I picked out the perfect items when they all love their chosen gifts because they are gifts made for them specifically. Picking great presents just comes down to thinking of the person and not trying too hard.
