The Danger of Backflow

Normally in piping systems the flow of the water moves in one direction. The direction of the water normally comes from the area with high pressure going to the area with a lower pressure. This is how the water provider of the area with high pressure distributes water to the building that has a lower pressure. But because of the increase of the population the demand of the water increases thus creating imbalance to the water pressure and in the process allows a reverse flow of the water which is called a “backflow”.
A backflow is a very dangerous situation that might happen to the entire water system of the locality. That is the reason why that the government has mandated the use of a device that prevents backflow of water. A backflow is a major disaster to the water system of the locality the contaminated particles can backflow to the fresh water supply. The contaminated water is very hazardous to health and may even be fatal.
