Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to how they choose to dress themselves. Some people like to weather clothes in bright, vibrant, flashy colors, and other people prefer not to attract so much attention to themselves and are more prone to wearing shades like black or grey. I would fall into the latter category, but when it comes to shawls, I like to mix it up a little bit. I went shopping for a new scarf last autumn when the weather started to get chilly, and I ended up coming home with two different scarves that I absolutely fell in love with. One of them is a red and white pattern with the eagle from the Polish flag on it, and the other is blue and white with the Toronto Blue Jays logo on it. Both scarves are gorgeous, and after giving it some thought, those are the only two colors for scarves I would really consider in the future, with red being the front runner of the two. I tend to wear a lot of dark clothing, so I find that red scarves really top off any outfit I put together, and also compliments my outfit wonderfully. |

Yes that’s right, that’s how I call my bag and first things first, it’s a Cloe bag (it’s from Mexico, it was a present from my boyfriend) - it's mustard yellow and as you might have guessed it I’m totally in love with it because it’s no ordinary bag and let me tell you why from my personal point of view. I love small handy bags - evening bags, clutches, that kind of thing - but at the same time I obviously want to be able to put a lot of things inside it, I like a bag that is classy but at the same time not so much so I can take it wherever I go, I also like a bag that makes me feel that everyone around me is looking at it and that certainly happens specially with my girl friends! They always give me complements on how nice and cute the bag is but enough with the exterior, let’s go inside the bag itself, I love the bag because it’s probably the most practical bag I have ever had, it has just the necessary amount of pockets inside to put my daily need items in there and if something comes up I can put inside a lot more stuff, the size feels right for me, it’s not too big neither to small and something that I really like about it it’s the actual “interior” it has like a decoration inside not only on the outside and that is just so nice to look at every time I open it to take something out, also something worthy of mentioning is the build quality and the gorgeous materials, they all seem so natural and even now that I have more than 3 months with it and using it daily it looks brand new!. And that is basically my experience with my gorgeous little big treasure chest! |

Buying gifts can be a daunting task for anyone. I’m always plagued with wonders of will my friends and family really like what I get them, will they be able to use it, will they hate it and other similar questions. I've even considered MAKING gifts - I've got some jewellery making kits so that's an opton for my female friends - unique jewellery items.
I’ve come to realize that it really is the thought that counts more than anything, though. People love to know that you even thought of them. A simple, sweet card will make anybody smile. I tend to stick to what I know whether than try to buy things that I think they need, or I think they might find interesting because the fact is, just because I like something doesn’t mean that they will. I usually buy my mom her favorite candy bar and a candle or wax melts, because she is borderline obsessed with those. My best friend usually receives some type of t-shirt and gives me the same, something funny that seems like it was made with him in mind and video games for my brother. While sometimes I think that I’d much rather get them better, more meaningful gifts, come Christmas day I realize that I picked out the perfect items when they all love their chosen gifts because they are gifts made for them specifically. Picking great presents just comes down to thinking of the person and not trying too hard. |

If I was invited to a fancy dress party, and could dress up to be anything in the world I wanted, I would dress up as a princess. I have always wanted to be a princess, and have all the attention on me. The clothes I would wear would be perfectly picked to make up the perfect princess coustume. I would buy a pink dress that was strapless, and expanded at the bottom. I would get a tiara with diamonds in the front of it. I would get a pair of white or silver high heel shoes to go along with my princess outfit. I have dreamed of being a princess since I was a little girl, and I have never even dressed up as one for Halloween. I would love to have the opportunity to be the star of the show, and be the most beautiful girl in the room. I love the movie “A Cinderella Story” starring Hillary Duff, and the outfit that she wore to the Halloween ball she attended. That movie has always been a minor inspiration to me. |

When I saw these wedge shoes and the pretty colors they came in, I decided to "go for it" and to get four pairs of them, most in vibrant colors but one pair in black. They went so well with my Yuki dresses, but I had to have shoes in the right colours to match each dress. I ordered two pairs at first, then saw the other two pair online and decided to get them. Black, turquoise, purple, and a vibrant red, and all have a kind of snake-skin look to them. By the way, these are now my favorite shoes to wear to special meetings and events. It never fails that someone complements me on them. When I had purchased the first two pair, a friend of mine came over to visit and saw these new shoes that had just come by UPS. She looked at them and told me that these are the best types to wear because of back issuesthe wedge. So what had appealed to me merely because of their nice looks were also practical and ones that would benefit me in another way. She thought I had made a great purchase, even though at the time I wasn't sure because of the money involved. This friend always dresses nicely with everything matchingI'd love to have her fashion "flair," but I have never been that great in my "personal decorating" skills. I was glad to get her approval on my shoe decision. Of course, having others complement me on my shoes is another good thing. |

I love fashion - from costume jewellery to pashminas to dresses. And yet, my favorite bag is actually a reusable shopping bag I picked up for only $5.00 at my favorite bookstore. They were running a Mother’s Day special, and the bags were all by the cash register. I was there with my kids using gift certificates and thought, “Look, butterflies and books! I have to have that bag!” I couldn’t beat the price, either, when compared to other bags its size and style. It looks like an over-sized purse, and even though it’s rather small, I can fit my laptop, four or five notebooks, my purse, three or four library books, and my daily planner in there. I use it mostly for work, for meetings, and for school events where I’m required to bring materials with me. I’m kicking myself for not purchasing more than one. Even though it’s constructed from durable materials, I’m worried my frequent use will wear it out quickly. |

I once wore a dress to school that oyster shells glued on to it. I was very young at the time and I considered myself to be a trend-setter of sorts. I made the dress myself by simply taking oyster shells and super gluing them to the dress. I also wore panty-hose with the dress, and white gloves, and carried one of those lovely Golunksi purses. I think Lady Gaga took my idea of wearing a meat dress from my oyster shell idea - I swear she did! Needless to say, this oyster shell idea was a great success, and was copied by many of the more fashionable children at the school. You see, I'm a trend-setter to the stars, not just my immediate friends - if you see Lady Gaga wearing it, it means I wore it 3 months ago, and I no longer wear it - just so you know. |

If I had to choose one fashion item I prefer over anything else, I'd choose T-shirts. Don't get me wrong - I love my comfortable cheap boots, my sunglasses, my jeans - but hey, clothing just doesn’t get much more comfortable than a simple T-shirt, not to mention the fact that, regardless of what else you’re wearing, it’s pretty much guaranteed a T-shirt will go with it. Also, with there being so many different kinds of shirts available today, there’s something to fit everyone’s personality, mood and preference. There are graphic tees available for those who want to express themselves, or show their love for whatever company’s logo is printed on the shirt. For those who want to get others to laugh, there are plenty of joke shirts available as well. If you want to look stylish or professional, there are always classic T-shirt styles available as well. With them being so comfortable and extremely versatile, it’s no wonder that the simple T-shirt is such a popular fashion item. |

Freshwater pearls are currently gaining popularity, as they are less expensive than traditional akoya pearls, are widely available. The Chinese have led the way in freshwater pearl production, with the Hunan Province as one of the prime locations producing superior quality of freshwater pearls, but there has been an increase in Japanese production as well.
Freshwater pearls come from saltwater mollusks which have been nucleated with mantle tissue from another mussel used as a donor. Mussels selected for the process are at least six to twelve months old. The nacre process is then cultivated for a period of anywhere from two to six years.
