If you are a parent, then you will know what a responsibility it is. Your children look to you for guidance on almost everything and often they seem to not listen to what you are saying to them. This means that you often need to lead by example rather than teaching, especially as they get older.

Children will feel that what you do is normal, as it is what they see every day and so they will copy that. So if you exercise daily and eat sensibly, then they will want to do the same thing. However, if you sit around a lot and do not eat well then they will copy this. It could lead to them becoming overweight, unfit and unwell and no parent wants this for their child.

This means that it might be time for you to get fit If you start exercising regularly and eating better food, then they will change their behaviour as well. They will want to be like you, join in with what you are doing and so it will be a fantastic thing to do. it will not only improve a lot of things for them, because they will do it as well, but it will make you a better parent too.

You will be healthier and fitter, which means that you will be more capable of looking after them and your grand children. You will be happier which means that they will be as well and you will be a nicer person to be around because of both of the previous reasons. All you have to do is to start walking for half an hour a day and then build up from there, it is free and easy and will make a huge difference to you and your family. Or perhaps engaged in a boot camp. Most importantly, you will not have to live with the guilt of seeing them growing up and not achieving what you want for them.
